On time

Salzburger Performance Tage, Austria, 2018 - Sööt/Zeyringer's exhbition "On time/Õigeaegselt" at Hobusepea gallery, Tallinn, 2017 - Diplomausstellung, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, 2016 - First version (3 minutes) shown at We’ve only just begun, the reopening of brut Vienna (2015) and at Niños Consentidos festival, Vienna (2016). Two performers stand on the stage, ready to start. In the background there is a projection counting down the performance time. In turns the performers count down and count off as if to begin with something, but soon it becomes clear, that every counting is a preparation for a new counting. Every moment can be another beginning and it is always possible to set a new start. The performers count until the performance time is over. The performance can be shown once or as a repeated loop over the duration of 1-1,5 hours. |
