A workshop by Ioan Cernei and Tiina Sööt. During the residency at Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava, Tallinn in 2016.
A workshop for everyone who has an interest in interactive technology in relation to dance/performance/choreography either professionally or non-professionally. The workshop is based on the interactive floor “Perfloor” by Sööt and Cernei. The Perfloor is a device that consists of multiple pressure sensors, that trigger sounds. The workshop will start with a hands on approach. You yourself will be given the materials and instruction on how to make a simple pressure sensor that will be later used to trigger sounds. The created sensors will be used in the workshop to compose different movement and sound based sketches in solo, duo and group exercise formats. The workshop results were shown at STL “Greenfield” evening.
